Shikamaru was a damn liar. Every. Single. Night. His daughter would ask him how her parents met, being an early hopeless romantic. And every night, he would lie, right to her cute little face. Temari wanted to scream. Just tell the damn story! Besides, Naruto and Kiba laughed. It was funny, right?
One night, Temari, her daughter Shikari, and (your favorite OC) Minami were staying up late, while Minami told funny stories about the Rookie Nine. About the life-giving curry, Kakashi's mask, Anko's dango binges, etc. Around midnight, Shikari's eyes started to droop.
"Aunt Mi? Can I have one more story, please please please?" Minami sighed; this kid was freaking adorable.
She ruffled Shikari's black hair.
"Sure thing, kid. Which story? How bout the one when Neji and TenTen got caught at midnight behind the Academy? Or how Shino had to get completely hammered before he proposed to Auntie Ino? Which one?" Minami grinned, remembering getting totally wasted with Shino (dudddddeeeee…… scary thought).
Shikari grinned. "Tell me how Mum and Daddy met. Daddy lies every night, c'mon Aunt Mi!!!! " She was bouncing with anticipation.
Minami laughed. "Oh man, sweetie, that's a good one. Ok, here's the real story:
Flashback
It was pouring rain outside, as Temari furiously banged on Shikamaru's door. She was freezing, and when he finally opened the door, she glared up at him. He groaned at the sight of her on his doorstep.
"Damn it, woman! It's midnight, what the hell do you want?" Temari scowled and pushed up on her tiptoes to catch him in a full blown kiss. Without warning, she pulled back and glared at him.
"If you ever tell anyone that I like you, I'm gonna, I'm gonna…." Shikamaru grinned as she searched her mind for a decent threat, when she grabbed him by the collar of his shirt and yanked his ear down to her mouth.
"If you ever tell anyone that I like you, I'm going to RIP YOUR BALLS OFF!!!"
