For Hogwarts Online Prompt of the day for Hufflepuff Homework "Gone, But Never Forgotten".

Last Goodbye

The cameras snapped as Hermione left the Ministry. She was use to this now, everyone wanted to know about the famous Hermione Granger that assisted in the downfall of Voldemort. She waved like she usually did and tried to walk forward at all times. Of course they all blocked her way asking her questions or confirming details they heard. Hermione was growing tired of this and tried her best to ignore them.

"What was it like alone with the boys?"

"Where you scared?"

"Do you feel lucky?"

"What are the flowers for?"

She had finally moved off the premisses of the Ministry and Apparated with a loud pop, leaving behind very frustrated camera crews. She Apparated outside a graveyard. She held the Canary Chrysanthemums tightly in her hand and walked the track she was sure was worn out now. She kneeled down in front of his grave and placed the flowers down tears spilling from her eyes.

The big black words and the dying flowers never made being here easy. She was the only one who seemed to have the stomach to face it after only a short time. But she felt somehow she owed it to him. She never stayed long, it always hurt her to much. Thinking constantly of all the things she wished she told him.

She had spent many days wondering how best to express her feelings for a man who never new she loved him. She had spent many days starring at the gravestone that still produced a blank space where her last message was suppose to sit. So, instead of leaving straight away today she turned around and pointed her wand at the gravestone, writing her last good bye.

You may be Gone, but I will never forget you.
