This is my first AU fic. I used Lee Eun-Mi because I am a horrible, sick person and just HAD to use her when I got the random the prompt "Crunchy Secretary in Basement". Fans, please forgive me, no disrespect was meant, and if you hate me then please do not read it. For those of you who don't know, she's a girl from the Kpop group Iris who was stabbed to death by her boyfriend. Please, rate & review! Give me your worst critisism if you must!
Step. Step. Step.
Every miniscule sound turns into a roar in the basement, that's why Eun-mi hates going down there. She was already dressed nicely, heels and all, and about to head out the door for her first day of work as a secretary when she heard a noise in the basement. Under normal circumstances Eun-mi would have made her boyfriend go down to see what it was, but she hadn't seen him since the night before when they got into an argument and he left.
He probably went out drinking and crashed at a friend's house. I hope he's okay.
Every step closer to the basement door made her that much more paranoid. She put her hand on the door handle and slowly started to turn the knob.
CRASH!
Eun-mi jumped back a little at the sound coming from directly behind the door.
It was just a cat. There must be a cat stuck down there...Yes, a cat.
She kept trying to convince herself it was a cat as she slowly opened the door and peered inside. It was very dark, but she didn't see anything. Still moving slowly, she began to walk down the steps.
"Hello?"
A low groan echoed around the room as a cold, heavy mass fell on Eun-mi. She screamed, but the darkness made it impossible for her to defend herself. Suddenly she felt searing pain in her arm as something bit through her skin, and even through her bones. She screamed again and began to flail, when her hand found the light switch. Eun-mi gasped in horror when the room was illuminated in a dull yellow light, showing that her attacker was none other than her boyfriend. He had a dried wound on his neck that should have been fatal, and his face was grey and puffy. He smelled like death.
"C-Cho?"
Again, she got only a groan in response. Cho bit her neck, and Eun-mi let out a gurgling scream as she began to choke on her own blood. She was quickly bleeding to death as Cho began to eat her flesh. The crunching of her bones echoing through the basement were the only sound Eun-mi heard before she died.
