"Swan?! Swan? Damnit, where are you?"

"Killian…" Her voice was low, she sounded hurt.

"I'm coming, Swan!", Killian yelled, cursing under his breath. He couldn't lose her. Not now that he had finally won her heart, that she had finally found a home.

She was outside of Granny's, where they had kissed that night. Her hands were trying to hold onto a chair, but she was too weak.

He kneeled and put his arms around her, trying hard to hold a single tear that threatened to escape.

"Emma, look at me.", he said, caressing her cheek gently. "What happened?"

"She… Elsa… froze… my heart.", Emma managed to say, breathing hardly. Weakly.

She was as white as a ghost, her hands trembling. Emma was freezing from the inside out.

"What does that suppose to mean?" He was desperate. "Talk to me, Swan. Don't leave me. Come here, I'll keep you warm." The tear did escape after all. "Tell me what to do! Damnit, Emma, stay with me!"

She was in his arms, just like Liam had been all those years ago. With only one difference. He wasn't going to lose her. There was no way he could lose her.

"Listen to me, Regina is going to fix this, okay? Everything willl be okay, Swan, just hold on."

Emma squeezed his shoulder, in an attempt to get his attention.

"What is it, love? Tell me… But don't you dare tell me goodbye. Don't you dare!", he yelled at her, as if it was her fault. He couldn't contain his burning anger, his desperation.

"Kiss… me.", she whispered.

"Swan, it's not goodbye, do you hear me?! Don't do this! You will survive this!"

"True… love.", Emma said, as if it explained everything. And it did. In a hopeful, magical way, it did.

He smiled, tears clouding his eyes, and he could swear that she did too.

"I want that more than anything, Emma Swan. But it didn't work in New York. This isn't meant to be.", Killian said painfully.

"Just… do it."

So he did. If it was her last wish, he might as well fulfill it.

Her lips were ice cold, bruised, unresponsive. One single, hot tear dropped from his eye and landed at her cheek, marking her white skin.

And then, something knocked him off balance, causing him to grab the nearest chair in order to keep Emma still.

What he didn't notice, though, was that her skin was regaining its natural color, her eyes opening slowly.

"Emma?! Emma!" He hugged her tightly, not caring how she was still alive, how she survived.

And then he realized. He knew exactly how she survived.

"Thank you, Killian.", she simply said, repeating these two words that seemed to follow them everywhere, were they in Neverland, in Storybrooke, at home.

"I love you, you bloody amazing woman!", he yelled at the top of his lungs, knowing that she did too, feeling more joyful than ever.

"I love you too.", she whispered, as if afraid that someone would hear her and destroy her happiness.

Simultaneously, they went in for a long, slow kiss. Everything else could wait.
