Bay's Decision
Chapter 1:
Daphne stood at the police station completely in awe at her sister's action. She had just confessed to a crime she didn't commit. She said that she vandalized the construction site to save Daphne from going to prison. Now, Bay's college plans are in jeopardy because of her. The more and more she thought about it, the more she felt guilty. She knew J&K would find out soon, and frankly, she needed to tell someone. She pulled her phone out in a heartbeat and texted everybody. Emmett included.
"Meet in my living room. We need to talk. It's Bay."
Time Change: 20 minutes
By the time Daphne arrived home, everyone was in the living room, waiting impatiently knowing that something has gone wrong.
"Not that I want you to be, but why haven't you been arrested yet? John said and signed.
Arrested!? Signed Emmett.
Yes Emmett, arrested. I vandalized a construction site while I was on probation. Anyway, I was going to turn myself in when Bay hopped in my car and said that she shouldn't need to do this alone. Then, we arrived at the police station and went in. We were seated and she started to ask me some questions. Daphne signed and said.
Go on. Regina said.
One of the questions asked what I did, and before I could say anything, Bay said that she vandalized the construction site.
What!? Signed Katheryn.
Then there was a bunch of rambling between everyone.
"Stop, let me finish!" Daphne yelled.
"Ok", said Regina.
So, she asked Bay to follow with her so she could call her etirnty and make a formal statement. Daphne finished.
"We need to go see her. All of us." Said Emmett.
"Where is she", they all asked in unison?
She's uh, she's, Daphne stutters.
"She's in prison."
