Assorted Tales from Skyrim's Taverns

Many a story shared with the drunks and bards of Skyrim have only been passed down through oral tradition. But now, the poet Rithec Wyrmscream has decided to make an account of the various tall tales, absurd anecdotes and strange stories the Nords and Redguards, High Elves and Orcs have all told throughout Skyrim! Featuring 20 stories, a tale for every inn and every tavern.

During this fanfic, It is best to keep The Elder Scrolls Wiki very close so that you can research the various bits of lore and other references mentioned, as I am probably not going to waste time explaining each and every one. There will be a story every day, unless I forget :/. ENJOY!

One Tirdas in late Frostfall, Rithec Wyrmscream was waiting upon his dear friend Horace Nimbleseis in the Winking Skeever to reply upon his letter proposing a collection of oral tales told in Skyrim's Taverns. When the reply came, stating that the Winterhold Sovngade Publishing Co. were very excited to have the many legends written down , Rithec started to speculate what he would do to obtain these tales. There were twenty taverns and inns in the whole of Skyrim, and so Rithec Plotted and schemed that he would go out to each of these inns and taverns and wait there until a story that he had not heard before was told. After he had heard this story, he left for the next place on his list. and then he repeated this pattern until he got twenty stories; a story for each inn or tavern. And this he did, until he had the twenty stories written down and ready to print. Here is the result of his month of work.
