My eyes flew open and I gasped for air. Sweat plastered my hair to my forehead, and made my clothes cling to my skin as I sat up. Still breathing heavily, I swung my feet out of bed and quickly stumbled to the sink in the corner of the room, flipping on the light.
Turning on the fossett, I splashed my face with the icy water. Gripping the edges of the sink, I tried to calm my breathing. I looked up at the cracked mirror over the sink.
My shoulders rose and fell with my fast breathing, and my pale skin looked ghostly in the dim light coming from the light over the sink. My features were sharp and hard as always, but they also now had a gaunt quality to them. My blonde hair looked silver in the light, and my eyes were wide with fear.
My heart continued to thunder for several minutes before I could calm myself down. It was just a dream, Draco, just a dream. A dream just like all the others.
No, this one is different. I thought as I realized what day it was. Today, I will see her. Today, I will see Hermione Granger.
