I cried when Rati had to say goodbye to Aichi. It was just so painful, his smile, her tears, so I wrote this mess for you guys before I go to bed. Enjoy.
Rati watched as Aichi started heading towards the throne, his black cape flowing behind him. She frowned, trying to bite back tears.
Aichi was the sweetest, kindest person she had ever met, a person she could actually grow to love. And yet...
He was going away, just as fast as he had come.
She couldn't bear it. It wasn't fair. She actually loved Aichi, his kind smile and his sparkling blue orbs... she just couldn't bear never seeing them again.
"Aichi..." The word escaped her mouth, as the bluenet turned to give her a curious look.
"I..." Rati frowned, biting her lip, tears forming in her eyes. "I don't want you to leave!"
"Don't cry.."
Rati opened her eyes to meet Aichi's kind smile, azure eyes shining.
"Aichi... I..." more tears formed in her eyes. "You were the kindest person I have ever met! And yet.."
Aichi just gave her a soft smile, his eyes sparkling with wisdom, taking out his handkerchief and wiping her face. Rati sobbed silently quiet whimpers escaping her throat. She wanted this touch, no, this moment, to last forever.
"Rati.. I'm sorry it had to be like this. I would love to spend another afternoon on Cray eating donuts with you." Aichi gave her one of his kindest smiles, staring directly into her eyes, his own orbs clouded with pain and sadness. The tears left the girl's eyes, not wanting Aichi to see her like this.
Aichi got back up, the gentle smile still on his face as he walked to the throne, water rippling behind him as he rested on the throne.
Rati forced herself to walk up to the seal placing her hand there.
For your sake... For Cray's sake.. I'm sorry... She mused, biting her lip again, as the seal formed and Aichi slumped, left to slumber there forever.
A smile flashed in her mind, those smiling blue hues staring at her, seeming to understand her. Another image of her father flashed, the same smile on his face, as she remembered standing by his grave, putting a donut on his tombstone.
I lost my only friend...
Aichi...
