Just Another Day

Sunlight filled the messy room, landing on the face of Kyo Sohma. He blinked, then furrowed his brown, turning his face into a scowl, mad at the sun for rising so early.
"Damnit.." He mutter, climbing out of his bed.
From downstairs, the same cheery voice that always hit his ears when he wakes came drifting up. It belonged to none other then his classmate, and housemate, Tohru Honda.
"Kyo! Yuki! Wake up please!" She called to them.
As he walked into the hall he woke himself up, he doesn't need Yuki knowing he's tired. Walking downstairs and into the dining/living-room he saw Shigure reading the morning paper as always.
"Good morning Kyo!" Came Tohru's bright welcome as she finished bringing the rice soup with small bits of leeks out of the kitchen, setting it on the table with spoons.
"Morning..." A muttered reply from Kyo as Yuki entered the room, looking half-awake.
"Ah Yuki, glad to see you're finally awake. I was starting to get worried." Shigure peered just over the edge of the newspaper.
"Oh Yuki! Good morning!" Tohru bowed before sitting in her normal place across from Shigure, between Kyo and Yuki.
All was silent as Tohru, Yuki and Shigure began to eat, that was, until Kyo noticed something green in the soup. Sniffing it, his eyes widened in recognition.
"Leeks? Leeks?!" Kyo jumped up, "You know I hate leeks!"
"Kyo, don't be so rude. You're going to hurt poor Tohru's feelings!" Shigure was being his normal immature self.
"Miss Honda, it looks delicious. You stupid cat, sit down and eat." Yuki now was awake.
"Don't tell me what to do you damn rat!" Kyo practically yelled.
The whole time this was going on, Tohru had stood up, and was bowing.
"I'm sorry! I'm sorry!" She apologized.
Yes, this was indeed going to be just another day.
