Ocean Jasper dove into the water as her boyfriend Shaded Diamond followed. Ocean Jasper's heart flared with fear as she saw the lava flowing down the volcano's side, closer ever closer to her precious water. As she looked for Shaded Diamond she saw neither hide nor hair of him, his shiny, beetle black hair, and his smoke colored skin that she loved so much. Then something grabbed her hand…
"D!" she cried out. "I thought I lost you,"
Shaded Diamond kissed her lightly on the cheek.
"I will always find you. Never, ever will I not," D pressed his forehead to Ocean's. "We can't go back home, we have to go somewhere else because this destruction will never be fixed."
"Look an abandoned inflatable boat! I think I see preserves and water on it to!" Ocean exclaimed.
As the ocean crashed around them, during their swim over to the small boat, D thought this will be over soon….I hope. They gasped for air with their tired lungs as they climbed into the boat.
"Why is there water in the boat?" Ocean noticed a small hole in the bottom of the boat. She looks up and screams. "And what is that?!"
A giant tidal wave was moving in their direction. As the raging waters quickly moved towards them, D was quite sure he saw fear in Ocean's eyes despite her love of water. Whoosh! The tidal wave hit the boat and flipped it over; sadly D and Ocean were separated and adrift once again.
