A light sound hit the windows softly, as if heavens drums were playing a soft tune to rock the angels to sleep. A loud rumble rolled through the sky like a loud laugh, full of joy and happiness as lightning struck, illuminating the world in a quick flash before disappearing. Grey clouds rolled in the sky, pouring on endless streams of rain, like one giant waterfall broken into bits.
A hand upon yours, soft, warm and alive as soft kisses covered any revealing skin so softly. Legs tangled up as you two latched onto one another, the sheet of the bed wrapped around your bodies like a coiling snake trying to eat you both up.
Thick locks of hair falling into each others eyes carelessly they swipe it away softly. Kisses shared, long and lovingly as his air became yours and yours became his. Love so young yet so familiar, Makoto's chest moving with your own. He ran his hands through your hair, detangling strands in the process. You didn't mind, although your hair wasn't that long nor that short, it still felt rather relaxing. You closed your eyes, letting him lull you to sleep again and again as you both napped.
Outside the gloomy weather continued, the rain pouring harder and faster. When lightning and thunder would strike you could feel his heartbeat race just slightly as he obviously remembered his lungs filling with water as he tried to help his friends. Makoto succeeded, you both knew that. So everytime you felt his heartbeat racing, you would grasp his hands in yours softly, pieces of a puzzle meant to fit, as you kissed him to let him know he was there.
To let him know you were there.
As the rain poured on you held each other in one anothers arms. Chest to chest, you felt his heartbeat and you felt his. There were no words to be shared, anything to be said was already spilled into the air, staining your thoughts with bliss. Your hearts beating like a drum to the beat of the rain. In the gloomy and wet weather, you seeked each other and stayed there in cotton candy happiness.
