Hey everyone.
This is the Sequel to "Bade Love Story"
Please enjoy this chapter.
"How's it feel to be married now?" Sarah asked her daughter as she walked in Jade's bedroom. Jade just came back from her honeymoon with Beck. They went to Hawaii and Jade was unpacking her bags.
"It's nice. Now Beck is officially all mine." Jade smirked.
"I'm happy you're happy." Sarah claimed. It's mid August and Sarah has about a month left to live. "So, is Beck moving in here or.., what exactly is happening?"
"Beck is gonna move in here. We decided to just live in this house so Tyler doesn't have to move when..I get custody." Jade claimed awkwardly. She didn't wanna bring up her mother's expected death.
"Okay. I'll make sure you guys can live here after...Yeah. I'll also make sure Tyler is taken care of financially as well. The child receives money after a parent passes away until they're 18 years old. Unfortunately, you won't get much for him, but it'll help a little bit." Sarah explained. Jade sighed and looked at her.
"Mom..I don't want to talk about that. You still have about a month or so. We should just enjoy our time together now." Jade told her mother. Sarah smiled and nodded her head.
"Jade. You've become a mature woman. I'm so proud of you." Sarah smiled and hugged Jade. Jade hugged back.
"Thank you, mom." Jade said quietly. Tyler and Joe walked into them hugging and decided to leave them be.
"Hey, Joe. Let's go for a ride. You and I." Jade came downstairs while everyone else was in the living room. Beck, Tyler, Joe, and Sarah all look up to see Jade ready to go somewhere.
"Me? Why?" Joe asked confused.
"I just need to talk to you. It's nothing bad or anything." Jade explained. Joe just looked at her.
"Should I be scared?" Joe asked concerned.
"You should be if you don't get up." Jade threatened and crossed her arms over her chest. That got Joe moving. "We'll be back in about half an hour or so." With that, Joe and Jade left.
"I wonder what that was about." Sarah looked at her son and son-in-law. Tyler and Beck just shrugged.
"Who knows?" Tyler asked rhetorically. In actuality, Beck knows. Him and Jade had a conversation earlier and Jade is finding out some answers.
"It's Jade. No one ever knows her reasoning behind things." Beck told.
"So, what's up?" Joe asked a little scared as he buckled his seat belt. Jade was driving and Joe was in the passenger's seat.
"I just want to talk to you. I wanna know some things. I expect a straight answer from you." Jade told as she looked at him. She started pulling out of the driveway and headed off to who knows where. She honestly doesn't even know where to take him.
"Okay. Sure. I'll tell you whatever you want. Just, please don't hurt me." Joe said frightened. Jade just rolled her eyes and sighed.
"What-What are your plans for after mom passes?" Jade asked quietly. Joe just turned to look at her.
"What do you mean?" Joe questioned.
"Are you gonna stick around or are you gonna leave us too?" Jade clarified. "You aren't married and I know you aren't even obligated to stay with us even if you were married. I want to know if you're gonna leave or stay with us. Our father left us, so we don't really expect you to stay as well."
"I..I never actually thought about it." Joe sighed. "I mean, I love you and Tyler so much. Beck too." Joe added in quickly. "It's just..I don't know if I can handle it."
"I know what you mean. I don't know how we're gonna survive living in the house." Jade confessed. Joe sighed.
"I mean..I don't want to leave you both alone because your mom died. I want to help you if I can, it's just.." Joe couldn't even finish because he didn't know what to say.
"Understandable." Jade said and Joe looked at him. She made eye contact with him too. "You're an okay guy, Joe. Tyler and I both like you. Beck does as well. We still want you in our lives though at least, even if it isn't often we see you."
"I'm glad you two like me." Joe relieved. "I had doubts about you two liking me."
"Hey, you stayed with us this long. You would have known if we didn't like you." Jade said and quickly looked at him. "Especially me."
"It would be nice to see you guys grow up into wonderful people." Joe claimed. "I do want to stick around, even if it's for a little bit."
"Cool. But, don't be bossing us around. Don't tell me what to do. I HATE it when people tell me what to do." Jade claimed.
"I know." Joe sighed. They both smiled.
"How was the ride? What did you figure out?" Beck asked when Jade was getting ready to shower.
"He wants to stick around, but doesn't know if he can emotionally handle it." Jade claimed.
"I can see where he's coming from." Beck admitted. "I don't know how you're gonna handle it as well."
"I have you to help me." Jade smiled. Beck kissed her.
"I know. You and Tyler have me." Beck said, smiling at his wife.
"I know. We also have others too." Jade added in and started listing other people. "Sikowitz, Andre, Cat, Robbie."
"Hey, mommy. What are you doing?" Tyler asked his mother as he walked into her room. Sarah was packing a small bag.
"I'm going to the hospital for a little bit." Sarah answered her son. "I'll be there for a few days."
"You are gonna come back though, right?" Tyler asked his mom. Sarah sighed. She went over to Tyler and kissed his forehead.
"Yes. I will be back." Sarah smiled.
"Good. And after you come back, all of us are going to the zoo, right?" Tyler asked, smiling really wide. Sarah chuckled. "You did promise that we can all go to the zoo soon."
"Of course. Joe and I are leaving now. Be good for Jade and Beck, kay?" Sarah said her goodbye and left.
"So, I may sell the Silver Streak if we need to." Beck confessed to his new wife as he was putting his clothes in the dresser.
"Really? Why?" Jade wondered. "That's our place. The Silver Streak has been with us since we started dating. It's like part of our relationship."
"I know, but I said I may sell it. Only if we need to. If we even need extra money or whatever. I just want you to know that that will be the first thing to go." Beck explained.
"Okay. Yeah. I don't wanna see it go though." Jade said a bit sadly.
"I know. Me neither. So, let's try not to need to get rid of it." Beck proposed and Jade nodded.
"Good plan." Jade said. "You almost scared me, you jerk. Don't go around saying that you're going to sell the Silver Streak unless it's official." Jade berated.
"Okay. I won't. I promise." Beck held his hands up in defense and kissed Jade.
"I don't want mom to leave us." Tyler told Jade when him, Jade, and Beck were hanging out in Jade's room.
"I know. I don't want her to leave either. It's life though." Jade sighed. "This is why I don't get close with people."
"I know we still have about a month or so til she dies, but I can't help but feel sad about it now." Tyler sighed, looking like he was ready to cry.
"I know. I'm feeling down about it too, but she is still with us. We have to just enjoy our time with her now before it's all gone." Jade put a comforting arm over Tyler's shoulder. He looked up and smiled.
"Can I please stay with you guys for the night? I'm sad." Tyler confessed. Jade chuckled.
"Of course you can." Jade smiled at her baby brother. Tyler then crawled into Jade's bed, closed his eyes, and fell asleep instantaneously. Beck and Jade followed suit a few minutes after.
