The Library of Laghima
(A/N: This is me throwing in my own take on mythology in the Avatar World. I know there is an established one but I guess this is an exercise for me. I hope you enjoy anyway and if you don't thanks for giving this a read. Lyoko498)
Before the Genocide of the Air Nomads, there was a library built in the centuries past by the Nomad Guru Laghima, as he wanted to keep all sources of knowledge and culture available to the people when they wanted, as well as help culture and science florish and give the nations insight to each other's beliefs. With the help of Earthbenders to create and move the stones that built it. Within this library the disciples of Laghima collected and replicated scrolls and codexs from around the world. They would borrow the scroll or text and then copy them, returning the original to their owners and storing the copy in the library.
While nowhere near as large or massive as Wang Shi Tong's Spirit Library, the Library of Laghima was considered to be the crowning achievement of human enlightenment and intelligence.
That is until 0 AG, when the Fire Nation destroyed the Air Nomads and nearly everything pertaining to them. The Library was destroyed last by Sozin himself. The texts were lost to human scholars, though some such as Professor Zei to have been taken in secret by the foxes of Wang Shi Tong to be added to his own library. Though even in the destruction some texts were able to be found during the reign of Zuko and Avatar Aang.
These are some of the texts that were found...
