As he heard the sound of the door open he peeked through the door. A four legged black spider-like creature entered. Jason noticed the eyes. Same from his dream.
It scittered around leaning towards the ground, sniffing. At this point Jason grabbed his grappel gun and an extending metal pole from his bag.
In a cliche moment he lept from the stairs at it and shouted "Hey ugly!"
Before the pole hit the creature it moved causing him to miss. Then it snapped at him, but it also missed. this went on for awhile. Then Fluttershy opened the door.
"Jason? Is everything alri-" she stopped when she saw what was going on.
unfortunately, this distracted Jason and the creature rammed into him sending him flying a good distance. The creature turned to see Fluttershy. She started shaking. Then it jumped at her. She screamed and closed her eyes. Nothing happened.
She opened her eyes to see Jason on the ground wrestleing the thing. "Get behind something!" he shouted.
She did what he said. Jason held his grappel gun to the creature and pressed the red button.
The creature screamed in agony as blue sparks and light went across the room. When Jason let off, the creature turned to something resembling smoke. He and Fluttershy sat in confusion for a moment before he finally asked "are you ok?"
"Yeah, but are you?" she asked.
"Been through worse." he said as he stood. "what was that thing?"
"I dont know," she replied. "But maybe Twilight does. But how do we get to her since she'll need her library."
"Assemble the group." Jason suggested. "Then we could get more theories and a reason for AJ to come by."
"Thats a good idea, I'll go do that." she said as she ran off.
Jason was alone again. Just waiting.
