Olivia stumbled into the squad room her clothes were ripped, almost every inch of her covered in blood. Her eyes were bloodshot and it seemed like she had distanced herself from her body. Many stated but no one dared approach her. The usually bustling squad room became silent and dark. That is of course until Elliot entered. "Olivia?! SOMEBODY CALL 911!" he yelled as he ran to her. She began to shake before collapsing into his arms. Elliot's mind switched itself off he was frozen, paralysed with fear..

.

He sat there impatiently, hearing nothing but the loud ticking of the clock hung on the otherwise empty wall. His eyes wondered the dimly lit room in search of something to distract his paranoid thoughts. "Family of Olivia Benson?" the doctor asked filling the room with sound.

"That's me!" Elliot exclaimed, psychically jumping out of his seat.

"We've stabilised her but unfortunately after we medicated her she fell into a coma" the doctor explained. This angered Elliot, his fists clenched but he knew he had to calm down. He bit his lip to stop himself from yelling then cleared his throat to rid himself of his angry words.

"Can I see her?" he managed to choke out and the doctor gave him a simple nod in response.

He cautiously walked to the door. He slowly reached for the handle, then quickly clamped his hand around it. His whole body shook ad he twisted the handle and took a step inside. Sure enough there she was laying there motionlessly. Her body seemed so lifeless, it was like Olivia was lost to him. He didn't know who he saw lay before him, possibly a stranger? but there was no way it was his Olivia, his world, his lover. He walked to her and gently took her hand, placing it into his. He held it tight, afraid if he let her go he would never feel her soft touch again.

"Olivia hang in there OK babygirl I love you so much. We're going to get through this. I promise" he whispered softly as he ran his fingers through her hair with one hand and holding hers with the other. Tears welled up in his eyes as he watched her struggle for every last breath. It tore him apart. The monster who did this was going to pay, he needed to be punished for what he had done. He needed to feel the pain he caused. Elliot would make sure that justice would be done. The legal way or otherwise if necessary...
