Gillian was analyzing video alone in the lab when Eli walked in. He immediately smelled strawberries, he knew it wasn't Gillian's lotion, body wash or shampoo because he would have smelled it earlier. As he got closer he saw that she was sucking on a lollipop. He should not be thinking that it was the sexiest thing he had ever seen.
"Can you rewind that back about ten seconds please?" Gillian now had the lollipop in her left hand.
Eli just couldn't help himself when he grabbed Gillian's left hand and stuck the lollipop in his mouth. "Hey you could have asked for a lick!" Gillian said as she pulled her hand back.
"So can I have a lick?" Eli nudged her with his right hip. Gillian stuck the lollipop back into Eli's mouth "Yes, but don't bite. I hate it when you bite."
Cal had walked into the lab and overheard the last part but didn't realize they were sharing a lollipop. He walked out without them noticing that he had even been there. Cal was angry at himself for not telling Gillian that he loved her. After Claire he wanted to give her time to grieve, but now it seemed that he had waited to long.
"Oh come on I don't always bite. How about when you eat all but two of my red vines?" Eli stuck the lollipop back into Gill's mouth to keep her from answering.
Laughing she pulled it out "Keep it up and I won't share the Laffy Taffy that I brought in." Gillian turned to leave the lab.
"That's ok because I have a box of Sugar Babies and some M & M's" Eli chuckled because he knew she would be back for some chocolate by the end of the day.
How could I have been so blind? Gillian always had a soft spot for Loker. Proof is when she didn't let him straight out fire the plonker during the ponzi scheme case. Never did he imaging that Loker would be licking and biting her. Maybe it's not to late, after all he knows that she loves him, he knows because that's the one thing he can read on her face when they're together. He never questioned which kind of love it was, it could be a friendship love but he hopes it's much more.
Gillian needed Cal's help so she took off for his office, tossing the lollipop stick on her way to his office.
Cal could hear Gillian's footsteps coming closer to his office. He started walking towards his door. It's now or never old man you have to make your move now.
Gillian stepped into Cal's office and was immediately pulled into the most intense kiss she ever had. Cal's tongue played with hers for a minute. As they pulled apart all he could say was "strawberry" and she whispered "it's about time!".
"I'm sorry if I overstepped, Luv. If it's serious between you and Loker then this is as far as it will go." Cal had his hands on Gill's hips
"Where did you get the idea that Loker and I were..." Gillian put her hands on Cal's face.
"I heard him asking to lick you and I nearly lost my mind knowing that I waited to long to let you know how much I love you." Cal had his eyes closed.
"My lollipop Cal. We were sharing a candy. We both like candy and for the record I love you too." Gill leaned over and kissed him again.
