The Ultimate Challenge, a naruto fanfic

Introduction

Power. Something almost ever Chunin,Genin, and Jonin wanted . This was especially true for all of the Chunin in The Leaf Village. They worked hard, training every day for the missions presented to them. They all would do anything to protect their Village. So when they learned about The Ultimate Challenege and the reward that came with it, they were all well prepared.

Part 1

It was a bright day in Konoha. Naruto had just been asked to report to The Hokage's Room. Naruto, being the enthusiastic ninja he was, sprang to his feet, anxious for task that awaited him. He made his way to Ichiraku Ramin to catch a little breakfast before the mission.

''How's my favorite costumer doing today!'' Mr. Ichiraku asked.

''Great, Believe It! Naruto said.

''So the usual, Naruto.''

''Yeah."

Mr. Ichiraku left to go prepare Naruto's ramin. While he was gone, he saw Choji coming toward him with Shikamaru.

''Hey, what are you guys doing here'' Asked Naruto.

''Looking for you'' Choji said.

''What, why?''

''The Hokage sent for you this morning didn't she?'' Shikamaru asked.

''Yeah. I was going to go after I had some ramin.''

''Well, after you find out why she wants us, you won't want to eat anymore.'' Choji said.

'' Wait, us?''

''C'mon, we'll explain on the way.'' Shikamaru said.

Mr. Ichiraku came out just before they left. Naruto handed him the money and took the ramin to go. On the way,Shikamaru explained to Naruto why he was asked to meet The Hokage.

Part 2

''It's a challenge.''

'' What kind of challenge?'' Naruto asked.

'' We only know that much.'' Choji said.

'' Jee, that helps.''

'' Can it Naruto.'' Choji said.

The team made their way to The Kokage's Room only to find Neji, Lee, and Kiba already there.

''We've been waiting for you.'' Lady Tsunade said.

Naruto, Choji and Shikamaru joined the three standing. Just as they were ready to hear what the ''mission'' was, a gust of wind blew in the room blowing loose papers around. Then Jiraiya entered through the window.

'' Sorry i'm late.'' Jiraiya said.

'' Anyway, let me first begin by saying congratulations.''

'' Wait, what did we do?'' Naruto asked.

'' You 6 have been selected to enter The Ultimate Challenge.''

Tsunade explained to the 6 how they had the highest chunin scores. They now had the chance to enter The Ultimate Challenge. Tsunade also explained how the challenge worked. Each day there would be a test that they had to complete and at the end there would be one winner. After the 3 test, out of the 6 there would be one winner and he would recieve special training from Jiraiya or herself.

''Alright!'' Naruto said. '' I gonna win, Belive It!''
