Disclaimer: I don't own any of the characters from the My Little Pony universe, that is owned by Hasbro. There are characters that I do own, but you should be able to know when they appear. In all honesty, I am terrible at opening chapters, but please be patient with that in the next chapter, it will get more entertaining.
The morning sunlight shone through the windows of the Carousel Boutique. A knock at the door distracted Rarity from her current fashion project. She walked over to the door to see a delivery pony standing outside.
"Rarity? Package for you." He said, his eyes pointing to the box that was leaning against the doorway.
"Why thank you." Rarity said as she picked up the box, her light blue magic carrying it behind her into the boutique. Rarity knew what was hidden inside the box's contents. It was a mirror. One of the mirrors in the boutique had fallen and shattered and this new mirror was to replace it. Rarity opened the box to see that it wasn't what she hoped. It was oval shaped, but the frame was covered with black and silver swirls and the very top was decorated with a trio of red roses.
"What am I going to do with you?" Rarity asked her reflection. She could see herself just as in any other mirror, but it looked that something else was there in the reflection as well…
The white unicorn shook her head quickly, the thought leaving her mind. She was going to meet Fluttershy over at Sugar Cube Corner. She would have to take care of that mirror later.
"Ok Elizabeth."
"Hey!"
"Ok, ok Fluttershy. It's your turn to toast." A girl said, placing her white sunhat on Elizabeth's head.
"Alright Fay." Elizabeth replied, giving the sunhat back to its rightful owner. "To…..pie!" she shouted happily.
"To pie!" the other girls cheered before they continued with drinking their various drinks of what was called carbonated goodness. Their celebration stopped when a knock at the door interrupted them.
"Fay! Someone is here to see you!" her mom called out before leaving the group alone.
"Who could that be?" Lily, or as the group had been calling her, Rainbow Dash asked in reply.
"I'm not sure." Fay replied as the pair headed up the stairs to answer the door.
"Hello?" she answered the door to see the mailman waiting for her.
"Package for you." He said, handing her a box before he went on his way.
"What's in here?" Lily asked as they took the box back down the stairs and set it down on the cold stone floor.
"It's that new mirror I bought." She replied as she opened the contents. Its shape was what she wanted, but the rest … not as much. The frame was a gold color and was decorated was an abundance of sparkling gems.
"It looks like something you would get rarity." Rebecca said, putting down her Elements of Harmony book.
"Oh shut up Twilight." Savannah, or Applejack, replied, giving Rebecca a playful shove.
"You know that it's not her style." Fluttershy, or Elizabeth, as it was replied. Fay and their Pinkie Pie, Caitlyn picked up the mirror and placed it in the corner of the room, showing the reflections of the party back at them. The group went back to its activities beforehand : drinking their carbonated drinks and actng in a geeky way as they usually would do. Soon, the day turned to night and in the late hours of the night, one by one, they fell asleep.
