I own nothing.
America sighed as he slouched on the park bench, the sun high and the cool breeze that rustled through the trees. Yawning widely, he tiredly looked around and spotted a bunch of people setting up a picnic.
"This looks like a good spot." A red head spoke happily.
And so the group set up a picnic. A blonde hair woman wearing pink took out a red and white chequered blanket and carefully draped it over the grass. A red head pounced the big blanket as the rest of the group laughed.
A few minutes went by as America watched the group. He got up from the park bench, thinking to himself that 3 hours of fresh air is enough to last him for the day.
"Alfred is that you?" A familiar voice asked.
America turned around and saw Jeff Tracy; the last time America saw him was a few years ago. How long he asked himself as he noticed Jeff's grey hair.
"Jeff!" America exclaimed as he ran toward the man. "I haven't seen you in a long time! How's it going?"
"Just fine Alfred. I hope you caught up with your studies." Jeff replied, putting a hand on America's shoulders.
"I'm doing awesome! And the studies are not that hard after a couple of months. Can I join you with your picnic?" America asked.
"Sure!" Jeff replied.
-A few hours later-
The sun was setting as the sky turned into a beautiful mix of red, purple, yellow and orange. America watched Virgil; the third son and loves to paint according to Jeff, was looking up from his canvas, studying the mixture of the colours of the sky. 'He reminds me of Italy.' He thought.
"Well, I have to go now guys, it was fun meeting you." America said (or shouted) as he got up from the picnic blanket.
"You have to go now?" Scott asked as Gordon pouted.
"Yeah guys. As your dad said… I don't remember." America admitted "but we should totally do this sometime in the future." He said, imagining the chaos with his fellow countries.
"Well I hope to see you again Alfred. Do well on your studies." Jeff said.
"Yes sir!" America exclaimed, doing a mock salute.
America ran out of the park, happy to meet Jeff in the park. It wasn't everyday you meet your human friend the suddenly appeared out of nowhere after 10 years.
-5 minutes later-
"Father. How long have you known Alfred?" Alan asked as they cleared up the picnic area.
"10 years Alan." Jeff replied.
"10 years! But he looks 19!"
"Yes Alan. And the weird thing is he hasn't changed a bit. I wonder if that happens with all Nations." Jeff muttered that last part.
"What happens with what?"
"Oh nothing Alan." Jeff replied looking at John who gave Jeff a nod. "nothing at all."
