The Cure for the Common Life
This was his wedding day, he couldn't wait to see Ann in the wedding gown she had taken 4 hours to pick out. Nathan knew it would be a sight to remember. As he thought these thoughts he was interupted by his best man. Cliff told him that a bird had flown through a window and ripped Ann's dress. The wedding was delayed until they could get a new dress. Doug, Ann's father drove all the way into the city to get an exact copy of the dress.

The company said that they would get a new shipment in a week. During the week that Mineral Village was waiting for the dress Nathan met a beutiful maiden named Popuri. They fell in love and swore they would never part. When Ann heard of their undying love she became furious and canceled the wedding completely.

Within a year Popuri and Nathan were husband and wife. They had a beutiful son and named him Jack. Popuri and Ann became good friends over this time. But no matter how good of friends they were Ann would always have hatred for Popuri. After this happened is when they finally built the confessional in the back of the church. Ever since that week the villagers came to confess their sins once a week. All the villagers will remember this day.

Ann was very sad after that. One day she was weeping at the waterfall when the Harvest Goddess appeared. Ann was granted one wish and she wished she could have a husband that never cheated or sinned. She was granted this wish and on the way home she met Rick. They lived happily ever after. The couple moved to a farm next door to Nathan and Popuri's.
