"Dawn, are you ok?" Barry asks. I sway from shock. "Y-yah! Hehe if it wasn`t for you, I would be a lot worse than I am now!" I say and giggle a bit.
I was on the mountain, looking for Ash, Brock and Barry after I fell behind them and there enthusiastic heist.
Piplup sat under a tree to stay out of the rain. Though it was raining, I had no problem being in it.
I walked to the edge to see how far I was from the next town. I must have been miles away, and I was tired, so I decided to join my Pokémon under the tree. That's what I was going to do at least…
Being so close as I was to the edge, I slipped off the side. I manage to grab a loose root that was hanging out of the ground, but I was slipping quickly.
I looked down, I knew there was no way I'd survive the fall! I closed my eyes, thinking that the boys wouldn't ever be able to hear my screams. I started to lose my grip and I struggled to hold on.
"Dawn! Dawn where are you?" I heard Barry call. "Barry! Help!" I yelled back, hoping he heard me.
"Dawn!" Barry yelled, running over to rescue me.
I held on with half a hand, Barry reached for my hand and I reached for his, we were just out of reach. My hands slipped away from the root, I squinted my eyes tightly closed.
Then all of a sudden, someone grabbed onto my hand and pulled me into an embrace. I opened my eyes to see behind Barry's shoulder, Ash and Brock, holding onto Barry's legs.
The quickly tugged us up. Ash and Brock hunched over and panted, Barry just continued to hug me.
"Don't ever lose sight of us again, or I'll have to fine you!" Barry yelled a little. I nodded and hugged back.
Barry smiles "Yah, I guess you're right, I did save you. But still, you sure you're ok? You look pale." He asks and I nod.
Brock smiles and hands us both a bowl of soup, Barry digs in and starts to slurp it down, I just smile and nod my head thankfully. "Eat up; you had an eventful day today." Brock says and I smile. "Yah! Thank you!" I start to drink the soup down.
