Chapter one : Flashback
EPOV
Year 2024
I groaned , slamming my hand into the alarm clock, the little devil that everybody hate in the mornings! God who invented it didn't have a hobbie that's for sure! God so annoying! I sighed and turned to the other side of the bed when I felt warm skin hitting my own skin.
Ahh.. my beautiful Isabella. The woman of my dreams, the love of my life. How did I diserved such a gorgeous wife? Have I not meet her in India so many years back then I may not have had two beautiful children and not her as my beloved wife. I like to think that we would have met somehow, that we would have been drawned to one another by our powerful love. It is destiny, the destiny that can only be made in India.
But when exactly have I met Isabella? I can't remmember but in my journal that I kept while in Calcutta her name comes forward when I brought Michael to dinner at the Swan family's house that was in 2012 but I recall seeing her at "The House of Books" while me and her father Charles shopped there for Christmas presents. Her family came to India while Isabella was 4 so all she knew was India.
While in Calcutta I stayed at my friend Peter's house whom I met in college while studying to became a writer or a journalist. I stayed there while I worked at the local paper under my boss Mr. Charles Swan. That I assume was how my destiny collided with Bella's.
