Stargate SG-1:

The Enemy Within

The Untold Story

Chapter One:

The Mystery

Colonel Jack O'Neill paced the infirmary in the SGC. His daughter's unexpected reaction to the Stargate had him worried to no end. Terri had never had any medical problems besides her uncanny ability to know things before they happen and the way she can move things without touching them. He had taken her to regular medical doctors to figure those things out but they wouldn't happen around the doctors.

Jack watched with a thumping heart as Janet Fraser looked his daughter over.

"Dad, I'm telling you, I am fine." Terri said as he watched her father pace. "I'm just exhausted from studying for my exam."

"You're not fine, Terri, you passed out in the middle of the conversation." Jack said.

"Colonel, can I talk to you for a minute?" Janet asked from by her computer.

Jack kissed Terri's forehead before going over to where Janet was.

"What is it, doc?"

"Your daughter has large amounts of the material the Stargate is made of in her blood stream." Janet said. "I don't know how it got there but it seems like it has been there for at least 7 years. Has your daughter ever been missing for any length of time?"

"Once when she was five she disappeared for a week." Jack whispered. "It was the worst week of my life..."

"Something must have happened to her during that time to introduce this alien element into her blood stream." Janet said. "I want to do some additional tests to see how this effects her body chemistry."

"Do whatever you need to do, Doc." Jack said. "Would this element being in her blood explain the strange abilities she seems to have?"

"It might, Sir, I will have to do some tests to be sure." Janet said.

"Hey Colonel." Major Kawalsky said, as he came in.

"What are you doing here, Kawalsky? Aren't you supposed to be getting ready to go to, P3X575? Or what ever it is?"

"I got a headache, sir, took a fist full of asprin but nothing helps." Kawalsky said.

"Get yourself checked out." Jack whispered.

Terri watched as Major Kawalsky sat on one of the infirmary beds near her and then she felt an evil presence near her as he looked at her.

Terri hopped off the bed and ran over to her father.

"What's wrong kiddo?"

"Something is seriously wrong with Major Kalwalsky." Terri whispered. "He's different then he was at Christmas."
