A day has passed since the new world twins disappeared and the countries that were left behind don't even know it yet. God decides that is a problem. He fixes this problem by sending a book to earth and forcing the G-8 plus China to read it.
Japan was at the G-8 meeting and every one was fighting with each other. Nothing was out of the ordinary. That was until Japan looked around the room and among the chaos spotted a very distracted looking England.
"Is something bothering you," asked Japan, walking up to England and gaining the full attention of the room without realizing it.
"Nothing. It's just that I find it very odd that America, who usually calls me on the mornings of the G-8, didn't today. I guess he was busy or something," replied England, not knowing why he felt so worried about it.
"He is running later than usual," said Germany, looking at the clock.
"I will go ask the front desk for American Kuns boss's number" said Japan as he walked to the front desk.
Maybe whatever caused him to miss calling Opium is still going on, or maybe he forgot there was a meeting today, Aru" said China. It had been a long time since the G-8 expected that China would sneak into the G-8 meetings. "Kids these days have no respect for their elders, Aru."
"It's rather unlikely his boss would let him forget such an important meeting or be this late to it," replied Russia wearing a malaise smile.
"They said that they would call America Kuns boss for me, and apparently America kun is not the only one that is running late," said Japan, getting confused looks from the others.
"Canada kun is also running late."
Everyone except Japan and France asked who that was.
"You know Canada" said France.
Three seconds of silence elapsed until finally someone put a face to the name.
"Oh yeah, Canada," said Italy.
One by one, the others recalled him as well.
Then out of nowhere, a book fell from the sky and onto the table.
They all stared at it for a little while until Germany walked up and opened it. He found a note and read it quietly to himself.
"Well, what does it say? "asked Russia.
"To put it simply, it says if we would like to find out where Canada and America are, we should read this book."
"Anything else?" pressed England.
"It says that they were taken to another world," replied Germany.
"What have they gotten themselves into, this time?" asked a very infuriated England.
