Chiharu continued to run around the field of Namimori Middle School, despite the blazing summer sun shining down on the whole volleyball team. Just two more laps before she's free. Yamamoto watched the girl silently, her long black, ponytail hair flapping behind her back as she continued to run with a smile. That smile that he loved seeing on her so much. She didn't notice that the baseball addict was silently waiting for her at the gate of the sport's field, but before she knew it, she had finished all her laps and was now panting, hands on her knees. Her blue and white Namimori volleyball jersey shirt stuck to her body due to the sweat.
She sighed one last time before stretching and sauntering over to the girls' locker rooms. Midway there, her friends joined her with an energetic bout of laughter. Yamamoto knew it would only be a few minutes before she came out, ready to go home. His baseball practice ended pretty early today, while Tsuna and Gokudera had to go early because the baby said Tsuna had some "training" to do.
"Takeshi-kun? Chiharu looked up at her tall boyfriend with a surprised look on her face, but she was happy to see him there anyways. Yamamoto grinned, his teeth showing, and it made her blush every time he did so. His smile was so bright but it was heartwarming and gentle at the same time. "Chiharu-chan." He leaned down to plant a quick kiss on her forehead, despite her still being slightly sweaty. He could understand, he was always sweaty right after baseball practice. Besides, her cologne was mixing in, making him want to inhale more of her scent.
He grabbed her hand gently in his and started to walk her home, "Where's Reborn and the others, Take-kun?" She asked innocently and Takeshi answered, "They went on ahead." He put up the umbrella he had and opened it over their heads. Chiharu looked at him curiously, "It's not raining." He only smiled down at her, "Too much sun is bad for you."
She giggled and pulled her hand away from his, and instead wound it around his arm, laying her head on his shoulder. It was true, too much sun could damage your skin, she just didn't expect Takeshi to know that. Her sweet, naive, Takeshi. The summer sun was quite bright, the temperature reaching to an all time high, when she suddenly remembered what Reborn had said a few times at Tsuna's house. "Take-kun, you're the Rain Guardian, right? Can you make it rain?"
Takeshi blinked once before laughing at his cute girlfriend, who became more so with a blush on her cheeks. "I never thought about that, Chiharu-chan! I gotta ask Reborn-san if I can do that."
In the end they were both naive and clueless.
