The Doctor eased off of the break so he could pilot the TARDIS without waking up Rose. He wanted where they were going to be a surprise for her. The Doctor checked the monitor to make sure they were in the right place and time before heading to Rose's room. He slowly opened the door then walked over to her bed. The Doctor placed a hand on Rose's shoulder and gently shook her. "Rose wake up." He whispered. She sat up and looked at him.

"What?"

"Come on. I have a surprise for you." He smiled. Rose sighed and got out of bed. The Doctor grabbed her hand and pulled her into the console room. He pushed open the TARDIS doors to reveal a place with orange skies and dark grey buildings. He landed the TARDIS in town square right next to a fountain. They stepped out into the town and were greeted by a tall skeleton.

"Where are we?" Rose asked unsure of who to turn to for the answer.

"You're in Halloweentown of course! My name is Jack." Said the skeleton.

"Well hello Jack! I'm the Doctor and this is Rose." The Doctor enthused. The Doctor and Jack shook hands. Rose tapped the Doctor's shoulder and pointed to the TARDIS. "Could you give us a minute?" They disappeared into the TARDIS. Once the door was closed Rose turned to the Doctor.

"What's going on? Why did you bring me here?" asked Rose.

"What? Don't you like Halloween?" The Doctor looked almost hurt.

"I don't even know where we are."

"We're on the holiday planet. Every holiday has its own town. Well, on this planet they do. So do you want to go trick or treating?" The Doctor smiled. Rose just smiled and nodded. "We'd better get costumes then!" he said before darting across the console room down to the wardrobe room. Rose walked to wardrobe room thinking about how much of a child the Doctor was sometimes.

Awhile later, they were standing in front of each other with eyes closed to show each other their costumes. "Okay. Open your eyes" Rose said. They both opened their eyes and looked at each other for a few moments. "Really Doctor? A banana?" Rose laughed.

"Oi! Banana's are good!" The Doctor said sounding offended. "What are you dressed as?" He said looking at the brown pinstriped suit and red trainers she was wearing.

"I'm dressed as you." She said. The Doctor smiled admiring how his suit looked on her.

"You look better in my suit than I do!" He exclaimed. "You're missing one thing though."

"No I'm not."

"Well if you are the Doctor…" He dug around in his pocket. "You need a sonic screwdriver." He said as he handed Rose his sonic. Rose's eyes widened at the fact he would be willing to let her borrow his sonic screwdriver.

"You're really going to let me use it?" She asked. The Doctor nodded happily. She threw her arms around him and he didn't hesitate to hug back.

"I think trick or treating starts soon." The Doctor said eagerly. They grabbed their pillowcases and walked out of the TARDIS hand in hand. For about the next two hours they went house to house for candy.

The second they were back in the TARDIS they sat on the floor and dumped their bags out to trade their space candies. "That was fun. Thanks for taking me." Said Rose. She gathered her candy and stood up. "I'm going to bed soon." She kissed him on the cheek and left the console room.
