Taint
A poem about Yullen (although it doesn't have to be)
Disclaimer: I don't own D. Gray- Man, although, really, there's only hints of D. Gray- Man in this, so it doesn't matter.
Warning: Yaoi? OOCness? It's kind of impossible to tell.
Mizuhara: TAT Another one?
Gaarin: Yup Dx This is kind of sad though.
Mizuhara: Oh… Why the angst?
Gaarin: I did it during Humanities class. I was supposed to be writing poetry about death, and this is, so… meh.
Mizuhara: Are you handing this in, then?
Gaarin: Nah…
Mizuhara: …So, well, then what was the point?
Gaarin: Just read it!
Taint- v.
1. to pollute or contaminate something with something undesirable or dangerous.
2. to corrupt somebody morally, or detract from somebody's reputation by associating him or her with something reprehensible.
3. to unintentionally give the scent or flavour of one thing to another.
Was ever I happier
Than when I was lying on my deathbed
With you?
Even this possessed version of me
Is feeling emotion.
The darkness surrounds us, but you
You are a beacon of light
A buoy in this sea of pain
Death doesn't concern me.
As I look into your terrified eyes
As you plead me to return to the land of the live
The land of the light
I don't want to.
Because then you'll go back to hating me
And I'll never be happy again
I don't want to live
With you hating me
I would rather die
Than be ignored
Once more
A tear falls
from your eye.
Sentimentality is
Not one of your few friends
You probably think
I'm dead already
That I have slipped away
Beyond the boundaries of life
Into a much better world.
That must be the reason
Why you're revealing compassion
Seeing as you barely ever have
Before now
Before this
Before us
Gaarin: Ok, so for those of you who might be wondering why this is in D. Gray- Man, I kind of made it about what would happen if the Fourteenth took over Allen's body but Allen still retained consciousness. The person over him is Kanda, but it could be any stoic Japanese samurai who doesn't usually show his feelings and has long hair. It doesn't have to be Yullen, if gayness bothers you.
Mizuhara: Gayness doesn't bother me.
Gaarin: … So I gathered. You spend a ginormous portion of your life writing and reading Yullen and Lucky fics.
Mizuhara: So do you.
Gaarin: … Yeah… but… RNR PLZ!
