Here's just a little something that came to me while watching Grey's Anatomy. Hope you enjoy it! Review, please! Even if it isn't pretty, I'd like some feedback!

I was with Haymitch when it happened.

We were in his backyard, waiting for the geese eggs to hatch. I was so mesmerized by the first one that opened, that I forgot about my own baby. I held that little baby bird in my hands, and even though it was all gooey and smelled weird, it was the miracle of life at its largest.

And then I felt it; it was like the bubbling of soda tickling down your throat, only stronger and down inside my belly.

Instantaneously, I put down the baby goose and raced towards my house, Haymitch's confused questions behind me.

"Katniss, what is it, baby?" that was Peeta, my husband.

"Something isn't right", I murmured.

"Honey, tell me what's going on" he insisted.

"Something's gone wrong", I whispered and my hand flew to my baby bump.

My baby couldn't be ready. She was too small.

"Katniss? … That voice. I turned my head up to see my mother in front of me.

"Mom?" I just couldn't believe my eyes.

"She says something's wrong, and she keeps clutching her belly", said Peeta, worried.

My mom looked at me, and then down to my growing womb. Then she placed a hand on the bump and held it there.

The bubbling came again and I started to hyperventilate.

"What's happening, mom? She's not going to… she's going to be fine, isn't she?" I was on the verge of tears.

Mom looked up and she was smiling.

"She's going to be all right, Katniss. She's just happy to be there… she's kicking".

My baby was kicking? Peeta placed his hand on my bump, too, and the bubbling came again.

I started crying and laughing at the same time. My own miracle was moving.

A/N: I've never been pregnant, so I don't really know what it feels like the first time, which, people say, happens around the third and fifth month, so, yeah. I chose to compare it to the bubbling of soda, because the other description my cousin gave my wasn't so nice.
