In this one shot I was trying to get in the heads of the main characters a bit. I had just watched the Runway Job from season 2. This is what I think is going through the minds of Sophie, Hardison, Elliot, and Elliot, when parker says the Tara is hot.
Parker: Oh no. I can't believe I just said that! They don't need to know I secretly like women as much as men. They're staring… Quick backtrack…be clueless. Ummm "Warm… Cold…" I think it's working but they're still staring. "Why is everyone staring?" Whew…good it worked. Thank God that worked. Good thing for my personal motto… when you say something others think is weird, ABC. Always be clueless.
Hardison: What! She's gay! Hmmm, didn't see that coming but yeah baby, that is soooo HOT! Oh wait nope not gay just clueless…well still kind of hot.
Elliot: Parker is gay, hmmm really. That's hot. No wonder I couldn't get in her pants.
Sophie: Well, I didn't see that coming. Parker's…. likes women? Could I really have miss read her that badly? Wait a minuet if she thinks Tara's hot why not me? Oh wait, maybe she does think I'm hot… maybe…wait is Parker interested in me? Nah, surely I would have picked up on that before now. I am a professional grifter for god's sake. No, this is just Parker being Parker. Repeating what others have said to fit in. Yeah that's it. I'm still good.
