Spoilers for Ninjago S8 E10.
Lloyd jumped off the platform swiftly, briefly hearing Harumi's grunt as he escaped, activating the parachute on his back and slowly drifting towards the boat his mother, Misako, was on. The small victory that had grown in his heart when he fought Harumi had gone, leaving him sad and empty. The scene replayed endless times in Lloyd's head, overwhelming him, loud thoughts banging against his brain, leaving him confused, and broke...
The moment the colossi - a creature Lloyd's own father made, with his own hands, with his own will - broke the Bounty, which didn't count to him, not much, anyway, but also broke his friends, his uncle, and his heart.
Lloyd settled on the boat beside his mother, stumbling a bit. Misako held his hand tight, staring straight in front. A flurry of emotions were puzzling Lloyd - the thirst for vengeance, the everlasting sadness, and the terrible guilt, biting at Lloyd from the inside out. He refused to look back and see what Harumi was doing, and felt that he couldn't do it anyway, feeling closed inside by chains of emotions. He hardly noticed Misako sharing a glance behind, before she tightened her grip on Lloyd's hand again, drawing closer to him.
It took a matter of minutes for Lloyd to calm down significantly, although he felt like an emotional mess. It hit him hard - how would he tell Ray and Maya about Kai? Nya, Skylor? And Ed and Edna, how would they react about Jay? Lloyd fought back tears, although a few already settled at the corners of his eyes. He wiped them tiredly, but with a somewhat firmness.
He'd tell the truth. It wasn't even a choice anyway, it was a clear thing anyone with common sense would do. What happened has happened, Lloyd would carry on. His friends may not be by his side, but he had Nya, the only remaining ninja from the five, he had Dareth, P.I.X.A.L., Ronin, Skylor, and others. Lloyd would pay for what he had done to Ninjago - being gullible enough to believe Harumi, to let his home and friends down so easily. Why?
Because ninja never quit.
This is not proofread as I'm on my phone which is old and bad, but I hope you enjoyed this oneshot. It might be continued, might n, who knows? I was going to include a bit more about Cole and Lou, but I've watched the series a long time ago and I'm not entirely sure Lloyd has a good knowledge of Cole's father? Correct me if I'm wrong, and I'll fix it.
