Hello. I am Snowtuft. I am sure you have not heard of me. You may know that I belong to The Place Of No Stars. But you probably do not know what for. The truth is, the only reason I am here is because of a mistake. But Starclan, well, they didn't know it was a mistake. An accident. I would never kill a cat. Never. This is my story. It all began on the day of my warrior ceremony. The day I became a Windclan warrior, and the day I was cast out. Like a filthy piece of rubble.
"Snowpaw, from this day on you will be known as Snowtuft. Starclan honors your courage and dignity." Suddenly, the watch, Chaffinchfeather screeched a warning.
"Riverclan is att-." Chaffinchfeather was cut off.
"Windclan! Defense positions! We have to hold our own!" It seemed like all of Riverclan was flooding into the camp. I flung myself into battle, lashing out at every fish smelling pelt. Then a Riverclan tom pinned her down.
"You will come with me. Now. Or, you're dead." He growled in my ear. He dragged me away from the camp and under a scraggly heather bush.
"You will kill your medecine cat, Rosefire. Do it. Or your whole family is dead. DO IT!"
"Okk-aayy." I stuttered, then ran. When I got back, everyone was happy. They had beaten Riverclan. In Leafbare! I went to Rosefire's den. I was conflicted because Rosefire was my half sister. I walked into her den.
"Rosefire, can I take a walk with you?"
"Sure."
"K, lets go. We left camp and went to one of the far edges of the territory.
"I'm sorry Rosefire."
"What do you mean? Snowtuft?" I sprung at her. "Please forgive me. I can't let my family die!"
"But I am your family." I slit her throat and left her there to die. "Snowtuft. I forgive you. But I can't convinve Starclan. You will end up in the Darkforest. I'm sorry Riverclan chose you as their insider. I will always stand by you. Her eyes glazed over, and her head rolled back.
"I'm sorry, Rosefire." I stumbled back into camp.
"Snowtuft! Wait a minute, there's blood on your paws." Deerstar meowed. She sniffed my paws. "It's Rosefire's." She mewed grimly. "You are a murderer. You are no longer part of Windclan. Leave." I stood right in front of her and ripped open my belly. All I saw was her horror until it all faded to black.
That was the story of how I got here.
