Lexra: This is my first novelization of Final Fantasy X. Please bear with some of the changes I make and details I add. Constructive Criticism is appreciated but Flamers are not. No there is not going to be any OCs in this story, at least not as a main character. I may add some more soldiers/merchants/small people like that but nothing huge that'll change the the main plot of the story.

I own nothing except myself. As you'll notice most of these chapters will be named after a song in the Final Fantasy X Official Soundtrack. It'll mostly be the main chapters where the plot is driven and not any filler/minor chapters. There will be some minor humor in this story along with some romance. This story will be Tidus/Yuna, Wakka/Lulu and minor Auron/Rikku. I might introduce a female Ronso in the Gagazet chapters but it won't be serious, it would be for the lols.

Anyways please enjoy.

Prologue: Prelude

He did it. It was finally over. Cerulean eyes stared up at clear blue sky, little wisps of white clouds stretching out creating unique patterns. His thoughts immediately went to his wife and child, a small stab of regret pulled at him. His wife had died and gone to the farplane already, but his child…no if everything worked out his child was perfectly safe. He looked to his right and wished he hadn't. His noble guardian lay crumpled in a heap tears falling down his face all discretion was lost. Auron, his best friend beat the ground scowling at the world. He called out to him with his last strength, Braska could feel the life draining from him, anytime soon Jecht, oh Jecht he thought mournfully, at anytime Jecht would see him and go to kill him, stuck in a frenzied rage brought on by Yu Yevon.

Auron's head lifted quickly when he was called. Braska made him promise to keep his daughter safe if she were ever to follow his footsteps, however before the warrior monk could agree a large bellow broke their conversation. Jecht, now horribly disfigured as a large lion like beast not to different from a Behemoth. He had a large gray mane, which closely resembled his hair, and his unique symbol still was tattooed on his chest. Jecht was menacing, everything was vicious, everything but his eyes. Braska could see Jecht humanity in his eyes, and for once Jecht was scared. He roared again swatting Auron to the side like a fly and brought his sharp fangs down on Braska's body. He accepting death willingly, he knew soon he would join his wife up in the farplane.

Jecht struggled against Yu Yevon's hold. He could tell that slowly he was losing control; soon he would be Sin, the harbinger of death. He sat alone in a place with platforms and pillars of fire. He sang the Hymn to himself looking for comfort. Jecht's thoughts went to his wife and son. He would never see them again. Yet, an idea was forming in the back of Jecht's mind, if the fayth could bring him here why not another person in Zanarkand? Subconsciously Jecht began to form a plan, possibly, quite possibly his son could defeat Sin. Defeat him, and end the spiral of death that gripped Spira ever so tightly.
