(after the events of Borderlands 2, Handsome Jack is dead, and with that done Lilith reached out for the Vault Key, intending to destroy it. But when she reached for it a seemingly holographic map of the universe projecting what seemed to be planets. revolving around those planets was the Vault symbol. Now with a new goal Lilith, Brick, Mordecai, Axton, Maya, Salvador and Zero will hunt these new Vaults, after taking care of the problems Sanctuary and the Crimson Raiders are facing)
"This should be interesting / The Vault, my masterpiece / Let's get to work". "Hell yeah, Amigo. Let's do it". Maya and Axton remained silent. "Well, let's get back to Sanctuary" Lilith said. When they got back to Sanctuary an unknown black-and-red hooded person was waiting in front of the Crimson Raider HQ. "Hey, can i get some directions? I'm kinda lost" as he put on a sheepish smile. His voice sounded young, like he was about twenty. He had no weaponds on him, not even a melee weapon. "Yeah, you do seem kinda lost. what are you doing here, kid?" Lilith asked. "I heard this is where multiple Vault Hunters reside" he said. "well, you'd be right. why do you care?". "Because I'm here to hunt Vaults as well". "You seem way too young to hunt anything, Amigo. How are you gonna hunt anything without a weapon?" Salvador said, smirking. "I was thinking i could ask you for a gun. I'll pay you back, of course". "Well, maybe you should ask the townsfolk instead. You're not capable of hunting Vaults. not yet" Lilith said. "Okay, then I'll do that". "Wait a sec. were you serious about being a Vault Hunter?" Lilith asked. "As serious as i can be". "Well, then come with me for a second". Lilith and the new Vault Hunter walked to the bank, where she pulled out "The Boneshredder" (an SMG), an Anshin Shield and an M.I.R.V. Homing Grenade Mod (with Fire elemental damage). "Use these. i don't need them anymore". "Thanks. you won't regret it". "Hey, i gotta know something. What's your name?". "You can call me "Dragon" for now". "Dragon?". "Yeah". When the rest of the crew assembled it was time for introductions. "Dragon, huh? You seem like an excellent Slab! You interested?" Brick asked. "No, thanks. I'd rather stick with Vault Hunting". after that Lilith explained what needed to be done: "First of all, we need something that can sustain our shield so Sanctuary is safe against Blitzes. We may have killed Jack, but Hyperion won't back down so easily". "How about stealing a Constructor? It'll solve several problems. one: if we reprogram it to construct things like Cores and guns we'll never need to go looking for them. Sure, we can buy them from Marcus but with a Constructor we can give everyone the same thing. two: we can use it to create Loaders that work for us! we'll never need to unnecessarily risk anyone's life anymore". "That is actually a very good idea. I wonder why we never thought of that" Lilith said, obviously stunned by the idea. "We'll get back to you once we have found one, Dragon".
