Soundless breathing came from six teens, five of them sitting around a rounded table and the other inside of a giant lemon. The one behind the lemon, going by the name of Caitlin, had short blonde hair and shinning blue eyes. She wore her usual outfit, a blue skirt with a pink baby-tee; the only 'off' part being the large lemon hat she sported.
Around the table were her friends. Jen, Jude, Wyatt, Nikki, and Jonesy. Jen, the red headed-blue eyed sports girl, wore her normal white skirt with a purple stripe running down it, matched along with her purple hoodie and white under-tee. Jude, the blonde haired-blue eyed boy, sported his usual baggy-blue shorts, a long-sleeved black under shirt, and an off white/tan tee-shirt over top of it. His skateboard rested beside his seat.
Wyatt, with his black hair and brown eyes, wore his usual long-sleeved red shirt and dark brown khaki pants. His hair was styled in it's usual way, seemingly messy but everyone knew it was supposed to be like that. Nikki, the oddest one out with her purple hair and brown eyes, wore a white tank top and blue khaki jeans, held up with a belt so they rested at her hips. Jonesy, black-ish blue hair and brown eyes, leaned back in his chair wearing normal blue jeans and a dark brown shirt with a red collar, a random design covering it.
"Man, I'm so bored!" Jonesy complained, pulling his cell phone out and checking the time, "Ugh. I gotta' go you guys; new job."
"Really now? Where is the wondrous, Mr. Garcia, working this time?" Nikki asked, sarcasm dripping in her tone. She looked up to him with a cocked eyebrow and a smirk played across her face. Jonesy smirked back at her and pointed to himself with his thumbs, "The Pet Store; easiest job ever!" he waved a goodbye to his friends and set off, going to his new place of employment.
Nikki sighed and stood, "I'd better get back to the Tacky Barn; don't want to be too late." She waved with a small smile, then walked in the direction of the Khaki Barn. Sooner or later each of the friends walked to their selected job, leaving Caitlin and her lemon.
Soon their breaks would arrive, some just leaving and saying that they were on break, and took their respective seats in front of the lemon.
"Oh guys! I'm glad you're all here at the same time!" Caitlin exclaimed, clapping her hands and giggling like a madman, "My parents are going to be out of town for a while and they said you guys could stay over so I don't have to be alone! Since it's Summer we don't have to worry about school and we can all come here together!"
The blonde girl let out a squeal and and clapped once more, "Isn't that awesome?" she asked, looking at her friends with a smile on her face.
"Sounds fun!" Jen spoke first, a huge smile on her face. They all agreed to it eventually, all except for Nikki, "Oh… it sounds fun but I don't think I'm gonna' make it." She spoke with a sarcastic tone, but got a puppy-dog look from all of the group members. She let out a groan and looked away, "Fine. I'll go. Happy?" Caitlin squealed and threw her arms around the girl, "Oh thank you , thank you, thank you Nikki!"
"Yeah, whatever." Was all the purple haired girl could say as all of the group exchanged smiles.
