Sting POV
Some days are better than others. And some are actually good. But they are never happy. Except when Jiemma isn't home. I think the best day of my life was when Jiemma was on a meeting with the council and Minerva on a week long mission and we held a big party. We are not allowed to have parties expect when something big is going on. In this party we danced and messed everything up. Orga got so drunk he set the floor on fire. It was a great time. The best part was that Minerva came back from the job a little to early and right at the moment when she stepped through the door and saw the mess Ryunei threw a jar of bicuits (where did she get that?) in the air and it hit Minerva directly on the head. Of course she lost consciousness and didn't wake up rest of the night.
When she finally woke up next day she didn't remember the night before and thought she had lost consciousness while on the job. She begged us, yes I said begged us, not to tell Jiemma. I will never forget the look on her face.
But, we are not always so lucky.
Once, when Jiemma wasn't looking, Dobengal stole one little grape from him. He would have gotten away with it if it weren't for Minerva. Poor Dobengal wasn't allowed to eat the rest of the day or go on a job. Because of a one little grape! Yukino was the one who smuggled some apples to him later that night.
The life at Sabertooth is not easy. But if you follow certain rules it can be bearable, and sometimes even fun (well, that probably when you break the rules).
I remember once when Rogue and I decided to do a little prank on Elba. Rogue placed a shadow in the floor at the main entrance. Elba and Orga just got back from a mission when they fell for our trap, got stuck in the shadow and lost all of their Jewels on the floor so the hell broke loose. What a relief Jiemma was not there at that time.
Jiemma is the worst. And although he's Minervas father he doesn't treat her any nicer. He can be totally crazy sometimes. That damn tyrant will kill you if you blink at the wrong time.
He has always been like that. I have been a member of Sabertooth since I was really young, and that's probably because of my strong dragon powers. Rufus have also been here for a long time. When we were about 12 years old he messed up a job and had to face Jiemma in front of the entire guild. Jiemma was really angry. He scolded and yelled, and Rufus, who was only 12, started crying. That was his biggest mistake. Cause a Sabertooth mage cannot show any weaknesses. Jiemma became furious and punched Rufus in the face. Rufus got a big scar right below the eyebrow. That's why he wears a mask everyday. It was the first and only time I have seen him cry.
You may wonder, why am I still in Sabertooth? Well, 1. I don't have anywhere else to go. And if I would, what will happen to Rouge and Yukino? 2. It can sometimes be fun 3. Jiemma wouldn't allow me. I am one of the strongest and he don't want to lose me. The weak ones get killed, the strong ones can't go, in the middle... you will just get kicked out.
I hear the door open, Jiemma is back. He's probably gonna form the team for the Grand Magic Games. I'm pretty sure I will be in it. And Rogue and Minerva.
The grand magic games of X791 will begin next week. I've heard that the Fairies of Magnolia have returned. Rogue hasn't been able to calm down since he discovered that Gajeel Redfox of Phantom lord would be there too. Don't know what's up with that.
The best thing is that Natsu Dragneel will be there. That Salamander better watch out!
