"I should probably get something for Blaine, he'll be hungry when he gets back," Kurt said standing up to go stand in line.
"Oh, okay," Rachel said looking around her favorite cafe, they have the best coffee here. She looked around, she loved people watching for some reason it was very entertaining. As she looked around she saw a tall guy with brown-ish hair….oh my god, it was Finn! Her heart stopped a bit, she walked up to him to say hi.
She tapped him on the shoulder, "Hi Finn! "
He spun around…"oh my god! Rachel Berry? How have you been! You look fantastic! We haven't talked in like forever!"
Rachel didn't want to admit it but she was still kind of in love with Finn. Finn reached out to hug her.
"Finn what are you DOING here? You look great too!" in fact he looked more than great he was very VERY handsome.
"I'm here on a business trip, I'm a journalist so I have to cover a story," Finn said laughing, "what have you been up to Rach?"
Rachel melted when he called her his old nickname, "oh well I live in New York! I'm on Broadway with Kurt, I'm sure Kurt would've told you this?"
Rachel looked over at Kurt, and he was back, "Kurt! Come over here! Look who I ran into,"
Kurt walked over to hug his step-brother, "hey there buddy, how's it going?"
"I'm good, how come you never mentioned that Rachel was your co-worker on Broadway ?" Finn asked wonderingly.
Kurt shrugged.
"So how are you and Blaine? The last I saw him was at your wedding," Finn asked.
"Blaine is good! We just bought a puppy named Sally, she's a cutie. How are you an Jessica?"
Rachel looked at Finn.
That must be his girlfriend, Rachel thought.
"Oh, well she found another guy I guess, and she broke things off," Finn said sadly.
"Well, if it makes you feel any better, my boyfriend broke up with me for being too controlling last night," Rachel said.
"Oh, well it doesn't but thanks anyway…I better get going, my lunch break is almost over," Finn said.
"Oh, wait! Do you want to hang out again sometime?" Rachel asked, "I could give you my number…call me!"
"Sure! That would be awesome, uhm here's my number,"
After that, Rachel and Kurt went shopping, and had a good time.
