Hey everyone. Here is a story that was supposed to be written for Maybe, Possibly on Percy Jackson Fanfiction Challenges. It's about five years overdo but here it is. I hope you all enjoy A Kiss Under Stars.

It was a cool autumn night and everything was quiet so far or at least that was how Jason was seeing it. The months had flown by since the war with Gaea and to say that peace was better than war was an understatement. Jason was just happy to be back where he belonged at Camp Jupiter with Reyna and the rest of his friends.

"What are you thinking about?" Reyna asked him as he looked up at the sky.

"Just thinking how glad I am to be back here," Jason told her lacing his finger through hers. "With you and the rest of my friends." He didn't want to think about what he had left behind him in his wake. The fact that Piper had broken up with him because she wanted to stay at Camp Half Blood and he didn't was ridiculous in his mind.

"You just got quiet again." Reyna looked up towards the sky taking the sight of the stars above them. This was her favorite to time to walk around Camp Jupiter when the stars were out and everything was quiet. Peaceful. If she closed her eyes she could pretend that nothing had happened at all. Not any of it.

"Now you've gone quiet," Jason teased her.

"Sorry," Reyna looked over and smiled at Jason, "it's just hard to believe all the things we've been through in so short a time. You know?" She ran her free hand through her dark hair and wondered how different things would have been had Jason not disappeared earlier that year. "Did you ever wonder what would have happened if you hadn't disappeared earlier this year? I mean do you think that would have changed anything?"

"Probably," Jason laughed a bit. "I know I probably wouldn't have met Leo and Piper." He felt the pang of pain and guilt go through his chest that usually accompany the thought of Piper.

"You can't blame yourself for how things ended between you and Piper, Jason. If it was meant to be you guys would have made it work were she could stay at Camp Half Blood and you could be here. But that wasn't the way things worked out." Reyna couldn't help but think about how things had worked for her and her sister Hyall.

"I guess you're right, Reyna." Looking over he wondered how he never realized how beautiful she looked in the star light before. He stopped pulling her close to him.

"Jason..."

That was all Reyna could get out before Jason's lips were gently pressed again her own and their first kiss was exactly what she'd dreamed it would be like. Closing her eyes she allowed herself to melt into the kiss under the stars.

I hope you all enjoyed A Kiss Under Stars.
