A/N: Just felt like writing a songfic, OK? ^_^ I know this fits Amy, a lot. So I did Amy instead of Cream. I decided it would be much better that way. So, anyway, enjoy!
The real me is a southern girl with her Levis on and an open heart
"Sonic! Come back here!" yelled Amy, chasing after her hero. She had been trying to capture his heart for quite a while now, but always failed within that mission.
Wish I could say the save the world, like I was super girl
:No way, Amy!" Sonic yelled back at her, running past the corner. Amy stopped a while to catch her breath, and seemed to give up. within her head. I'l never catch him. . . he's way too fast! she thought to herself.
The real me is to laugh all night lying in the grass just talking about love
She headed down the street, with Sonic still on her mind. "If only I could do something to impress him. . . maybe if only I were as fast as him. . . but I highly doubt that would happen," she said out loud.
But lately I've been jaded life got so complicated
Amy got the stuff she needed from a
nearby store, the things she needed for Sonic's birthday, which was coming up soon. She had only wanted to wish him a happy
birthday. Everyone had thought of her as annoying, and never listened to her.
I'm still thinking about it almost forgot what it was like
If only Sonic loved me. . . maybe then I would get a little respect. . .

Everyone had pretty much avoided her for the past weeks, except her best friends, Big and Cream. She could talk to anything around them, specially Cream.

"I wonder where they are right now," Amy wondered aloud, looking up at the sky.

"Hey Tails!" Amy yelled, "you know where Sonic ran off to?" sje asked when she got over to the mystic Ruins. Tails just shook his head, as always, leaving Amy feeling desolate.
