Hey! Distantwave here! Thanks for reading my newest story! Enjoy!
He was so far away. Forever so far away.
All she had wanted was to hold him, to touch him, to tell him she loved him, but she couldn't. Never again would she be able to see him. For she had killed him.
Jen had first seen him from across the road. She was perched upon the roof of the chapel, trying to escape the watchful eyes. Frozen in her position she saw him.
He had caught her eyes, from on the street he looked up at her. Their eyes locked together. Then he looked away.
She could move now, but, for once she did not want to. She wanted to look at him again. What was she doing? Since when did she wasn't noticed? Her family would kill her if they knew. Never before had she felt this way, she didn't think it was possible, but here she was. Feeling.
Gracefully she slid of her perch. Trying to avoid being caught.
In the blink of an eye she was off the roof and was gliding down the fire escape. She was so fast, she loved it. Her whole family was fast, that came naturally, but she was exceptionally fast.
Silently she jumped from the bottom stair to the ground, smiling. Soon she would see him again! If she only could follow where he had gone.
Running through the back alley, the one only she knew of. She thought she saw where he went, she wasn't sure but she thought she did.
Within seconds she was at the end. She peered out from behind the buildings. Quickly she ducked behind again. Before anyone could catch a glimpse of her.
Again she looked out. She felt so brave! No-one in her family had ever done this. They where all at the chapel. Not moving other than a few feet. Not careful enough to evade being seen. Always being watched.
But not her. She was smart, she was brave, she was daring! She would find that man. The one that had caught her eye, one of the few that had ever been able to find her. The only one that she had wanted to find her again.
