Hello and Konichiwa! My name is GirlGoneGamer and this is my very first one-shot of Sailor Moon. I love the anime and manga so much so, I decided to make one-shots of Usagi, Mamoru, and Chibi-Usa-chan! I do not own Sailor Moon! Naoko Takeuchi owns it. So I hope you all enjoy this one-shot!

Only a Smile Matters

On June 30th at 1:22 am, today was Usagi Tsukino's birthday, but this time it is also the day of a special little miracle that was born into Usagi and Mamoru Chiba's lives.

Chibi-Usa was born on the same day as her mother, Usagi. Usagi and Mamoru have been waiting for this special little baby to enter into their lives after when they got married. Usagi and Mamoru was overwhelmed with the news that Chibi-Usa was coming to the world soon, after when Usagi was expecting her.

It feels like yesterday that Chibi-Usa just came from the future and warn them and the inner senshi about her home back at Crystal Tokyo and returned home back to her own time. It felt like it was short period of time for them to go by, after fighting against Dark Moon, Black Lady, Wiseman... But now this pink haired baby was born into the lives forever.

Baby Chibi-Usa only known her parents for a short period of time, but to them it felt like a millennium.

Usagi was resting in her hospital bed while watching her loving husband Mamoru looking down at Chibi-Usa who is still asleep in her decorated hospital crib just for her.

"She's so beautiful, Mamo-chan," Usagi said tiredly while peering her big blue sapphire eyes over to see her baby daughter sleeping soundly.

"She is," Mamoru murmured before looking up at his loving wife. "She's beautiful, just like her mother,"

Usagi was smiling at the memory as she watched careful, without missing anything about being a mother to her Chibi-Usa-chan. She slowly closed her eyes as she was getting sleepy after being labor for the longest. She was finally asleep as Mamoru looked to see his wife's chest rising and falling.

Mamoru smiled at his sleeping wife, before he places a loving kiss on her damp blonde hair and looked back down at his sleeping daughter. Chibi-Usa looked like an angel while she slept. Her small body was covered and wrapped with a soft pink hospital blanket. On her head was a while bowtie headband that is around her small head. And there was a hospital band on her wrist that has her name on it. Usagi Chiba.

As he watched her closely like a protective father would do for his little princess, Chibi-Usa started to squinted her closed eyes and nose as she started whining. Chibi-Usa started to cry as small crocodile tears were running down the side of closed eyes, until Mamoru knows what to do by using his fatherly instincts. He slowly lifted up his little princess and cradle her close to his heart.

"Shhh, it's OK, Chibi-Usa," Mamoru whispered softly only for the strawberry haired baby to hear. "Daddy's here. There is nothing to cry about, princess,"

Once Chibi-Usa hear those words, she slowly started to open her eyes, as they revealed two big but beautiful red eyes, looking up at her father. She stopped crying once she heard her father's voice, like she understands him. She slowly moved closer to her father's warm chest as a smile curled up on her lips.

Mamoru smiled down at the baby smiling at him, before placing an affectionate kiss on top of her strawberry hair. "I love you, Chibi-Usa,"

Chibi-Usa cooed softly as her small hands touched her father's chin.

Mamoru looked at his smiling baby girl as she was still lifting her arms as way of saying 'Hi Daddy'. And he realized something as he held his daughter close to his heart.

Only a smile matters to him.

Well, this was a short one-shot idea that I thought of when making this. But, I love Usagi-chan, Mamo-chan, and Chibi-Usa-chan! They are so adorable. So I didn't my best to make this possible. I am willing to make more one-shots, if people love it.
