Stars
Sasuke's P.O.V.
I stared at the stars as I lay on my back. It was cold out but I didn't care. My thoughts kept circling back to the question my aniki had asked me earlier. He saw the picture I had of Naruto. He naturally assumed I had feelings for the boy. Yeah, right.
I honestly had no idea what he meant by it, so I ignored him. I was grateful for a few things though. Itachi had fallen in love with Sakura. They had been dating for a while now. I was glad that I didn't have to worry about her following me around like a lost puppy. It was seriously annoying sometimes.
Someone lay down beside me. I turned my head and realised it was none other than the blonde idiot himself.
"What do you want, Dobe?" I asked in a bored tone.
"Thought you could use some company," he said. I glared up at the stars.
"You never think I could use some company," I retorted, "especially your own."
"Their fighting again," was all Naruto said. I instantly knew who he was talking about. Kakashi and Iruka had adopted Naruto after Konoha Orphanage had shut down. But since about a month ago, Kakashi and Iruka always ended up fighting, and it always got to Naruto, because he felt that it was somehow all his fault.
"Hn. You want to talk about it?" I was trying to comfort the blonde, I didn't like it when he was upset.
"No, but thanks. I just thought I'd watch the stars for a while. They remind me the important things in life," he said. I felt Naruto's hand against mine. It was soft. I felt Naruto grip my hand in his own. I turned to look at him, and realised he was looking at me. I smiled. Naruto looked gorgeous in the light of the moon, like some supernatural being, the way he glowed. It was breath-taking.
Naruto's P.O.V.
I felt myself blush as our eyes met. Sasuke was always there for me when I needed someone to talk to. I had soon grown quite attached to him, and that brotherly feeling soon turned to love.
I had never once uttered a word about my feelings to the Uchiha. I was worried about rejection. I knew I fell in love too quickly, and it ended in heart break. It always did.
Sasuke didn't let go of me. Instead, he intertwined our fingers, and turned on his side till he was facing me. I did the same thing.
He smiled, a genuine smile, and the way his eyes crinkled at the edges gave me a fluttery feeling in my stomach.
Sasuke reached up a hand and stroked my face. I could feel myself heat up again at the contact.
"Thank you," I whispered, not wanting to ruin the moment.
"For what?" asked Sasuke. I smiled at him.
"You've always been there for me. I appreciate it!" I gave him my best grin.
"Your welcome," he replied. He leaned until he hovered over me, and then he kissed me. I kissed him back, and then we were both sitting up. I put my arms around his neck, and he put his arms around my waist. We stayed like that for a few minutes.
"You're a great kisser," I said. I leaned my head against his chest.
"I am the best," he replied. I hit him playfully on the arm.
"Actually, I think you'll find I'm better," I said. I kissed him to emphasise my point.
"I couldn't agree more."
