It was a prelude to the normally noisy day at the Loud house, with Luan preparing some pancakes for breakfast. Now, why was she awake and not the rest of her siblings, that wasn't important. What was important was the fact she managed to do pancakes for all her siblings.

"There we go! Pancakes for each and everyone of my siblings! Oh, and mom and dad too!" Luan chirped in delight, with a feeling of accomplishment. "But they feel rather... Plain. There has to be a way I can make them funny..."

A couple seconds later, Luan got an idea and grabbed the maple syrup.

And some more seconds later, she gave everybody their pancakes, but with a particular addition: Each pancake had some pun written on it, and each of the siblings had something to say about them:

Lori's pancake had "I had a joke, but it felt phoned in." "This pancake knows my sense of humor, and I don't trust it.."

Leni's pancake had "socks with sandals." That was it, really. "Hahaha, normally I'd, like, freak out at such a bad fashion sense, but I get the joke!"

Luna's pancake had "These pancakes' are off this world!" "Hehe, I sure hope she means it in the good way."

Lynn's pancake had "The way from the house to the stadium was so long, so I had to do a homerun!" "Well, at least it's better than her usual puns."

Lucy's pancake had "Insert joke here." "Sigh, this pancake understands me too well."

Lola's pancake had "Lindsey Sweetwater." Again, that was it. "Haha! So true!"

Lana's pancake had "The wait was wart it" "I sure hope it was."

Lisa's pancake had "Singularity." Take a guess whether there was more than that. "I wholeheartedly agree."

The sisters ate the pancakes as Luan watched her siblings eat in delight. At least until they nonchalantly asked, "Is there more?"

Maybe she should've tried making more than one pancake for each of them...
