House had never really cared much about another human until he formed his own family. He loved his daughter like nothing else. She was his joy and his pride. He didn't always agree on everything she did but she was his daughter. Stubborn, Strong minded and witty. He just couldn't believe he would be giving away his baby. It was his little girl's big day. The day she would marry the man she loved.

When House walked in the dressing room, he greeted his wife. He smiled when he looked at her. No wonder where their daughter got her looks from.

'Where is she?' House questioned.

'In the restroom,' Cuddy said and House nodded.

'Sweetheart…' House prompted and no response. He looked at Cuddy with a weird look and knocked on the restroom door. 'Sweetheart…' House tried again.

'I can't do it,' their daughter finally spoke.

'What you mean?' House said trying not to raise his voice. 'You know we spent a lot of money…' House said trailing on and Cuddy hit him.

'I can't marry him,' she ignored his comment and said it again.

'Journey, you just got cold feet,' Cuddy tried to reason.

'No mom! It's going by too fast. It's like Click Flash,' Journey returned.

'Journey…' Cuddy said and she cut her off.

'How do I know I'll make a good wife?' Journey prompted.

'Is this what it's about?' Cuddy questioned and Journey said nothing.

'You'll make a great wife. You are a lot like your mother. Any man would be lucky to have you as a wife because I feel lucky just being your dad,' House said and Cuddy smiled at him. They saw the doorknob turn and out came Journey. She looked a lot like Cuddy with her dark brown hair and her mother's body but her father's ocean blue eyes. 'That's my girl,' House said giving his daughter a hug and a kiss on her head.

'You ready?' Cuddy asked and she nodded yes. Cuddy left the room to tell them they were ready.

'Did you mean what you said?' Journey asked.

'Of course,' House said and they began walking out the room. When she hit the aisle she smiled once she saw her husband to be. She knew her father was right when he smiled back. They would be just fine even if sometimes she felt like stuff went by like Click Flash.
