Why...Why did it go so wrong so fast? We only wanted to regain the Aque Blastia that was stolen by Bellos, but to our growing horror things just went wrong once we regained the accursed thing. After we were attacked by Phaeroh we ventured into the desert to uncover what he meant by calling Esterllise "The Poison of The World". When we found him Lady Esterllise was discovered to be a Child of the Full Moon: which meant that her powers; which were a godsend to us, were killing the world due to processing aer into magic faster than our home could keep up.
This news came as a huge blow to Lady Esterllise. When she was close to becoming suicidal and when she needed me the most I turned my back on her so I could kill those who I knew to corrupt, all the while risking our world to be destroyed by the growing threat of Adephagos.
Flynn ultimately never forgave me for what I had to do in order to preserve order in this flawed land we lived in. Our Blastias were killing our world and Esterllise, who only wanted to save the world was unknowingly killing it as well. My anger drove a riff between my friends as well as myself and I feared I would do something I'd regret the rest of the life.
Making the matter worse was when Raven reveled himself to not be the man we knew him as, but the Imperial Knight known as Schwann Oltorain. Capturing Esterllise he took her to Alexei not out of malice but out of fear for his own life. Once that bastard had her he tortured her until there was nothing left of the Esterllise I met while in prison.
While we were able to free Raven from Alexei's control and give him a new leash on life Esterllise was too far gone to save, tortured into an unwilling killing machine by Alexei's cruel methods .It broke our hearts to see her attack us while begging to die, so despite the pleas of my guild I struck her down to save what was left of her soul.
Estellise...all she ever wanted to be freed from that bastard's control, to live her life as she choose to. Instead I killed her because I was far too weakwilled to see another option. We were in too much shock to keep Alexei from gaining the true Dein Nomos, leaving us with less than nothing.
Alexei warped her into a force that ultimately could not be controlled, nor reasoned with any more. In the end I had to kill her because that was all we could have done to save her. All that remained of her warmth and beauty was the blood that leaked out after our last battle.
Now Adephagos is freed and our own land that we foolishly thought to be healthy is dying; breaking down into the aer that we abused to it was pushed to the brink of annihilation.
Our homeland is doomed without her and I... I am the greatest monster of them all, for I had killed an angel of mercy that was too good for this sinful land.
In the end in our quest for life, liberty and love all we have done was fear, pain, sorrow...and death. Even now I can hear the screams of the dying as they are returned to the aer.
I'm sorry dear Esterllise. Perhaps you'll find the peace you were so cruelly denied in the afterlife. Please rest well and know that when it is my time I pray you can forgive me for what I have done to you.
