Short drabble.

Disclaimer: I do not own anything you recognise. If i did, Graham would still be alive, raising beautiful little children with Emma.

Emma's wailing now. She clutches Graham's still body in her arms as she rocks back and forth. She doesn't understand. He was alive. He was fine. He was kissing her. Just moments ago. Now he was– No. Emma shakes her head and grips Graham's jacket a little tighter. She hiccups a few times before she tries to speak. To tell Graham – to tell herself - that everything will be fine.

"You're okay. Breathe. Just breathe. Open your eyes. Come on Graham. It's okay. You're okay". She shakes his body harder. Nothing.

"Wake up. Please wake up". She chokes on her words and throws her head back. A crippling scream rips through her and takes with it her ability to breathe. She gasps for air but it feels like her lungs are closing in. She's never felt so helpless.

She doesn't notice Mary Margaret until she's kneeling down beside her, one hand clutching her mouth and the other reaching out to feel for Grahams pulse. Emma knows she won't find anything.

"Emma, we need to call an ambulance".

Emma's eyes snap up to stare at her in horror. She hates the way Mary Margaret is looking at her.

"No! They can't take him away". She pulls Graham closer and bends to rest her forehead on his and she weeps some more. "Don't let them take him away".

She doesn't know how long she stays like that before a hand shakes her shoulder and she stares up at unfamiliar eyes. Mary Margaret grabs her hand and squeezes it gently.

"Emma, the Paramedics are here and they need Graham".

Before she can protest, they swarm around them and Graham is removed from her lap and placed onto a gurney.

She struggles to reach for him, to touch him one last time, but Mary Margaret holds her back. She screeches and kicks and tries with all her might to break out of her roommates hold but her energy was fading quickly. She stills for a moment to watch them wheel him from the room. When he's gone, she slumps against Mary Margaret and cries.

"I love you. Come back".
