The Doctor glances at Rose and she grins widely at him. He returns the smile and studies her face for a few long seconds before returning his gaze to the screen in front of him.
Follow through, make your dreams come true…
Rose's smile says that every day aboard the Tardis is a dream made real for her. Every day with the Doctor is adventure beyond the wildest hopes of her childhood. She wants it to last forever.
Don't give up the fight, you will be all right…
"I made my decision a long time ago, and I'm never going to leave you."
The fierce light in her eyes shows her to be resolute. She is willing to give up her mother, her only family, her whole life, all for the Doctor. Her Doctor.
…Because there's no one like you in the universe.
The Doctor knows that there is no other Rose. She's unique. The original. The best. His. His Rose.
Don't be afraid of what your mind conceives; you should make a stand, stand up for what you believe.
If he believes in one thing, he believes in her. And he will stand up to protect Rose, against anything.

Rose's outstretched fingers connect with the lever and she pulls it down with all her remaining strength. The pull of the rift redoubles, and she feels the last of her strength fail. She reaches for the Doctor, her Doctor, and he's screaming her name, before she plummets toward the Void…and in a flash she's a universe away, beating at its walls in desperate fury. She and her Doctor are torn apart; on either sides of an impregnable wall. Alone.

He'd known it couldn't last forever. Not for him, at any rate; but now not even for Rose. I had happened before, it would happen again. It is time for the Time Lord to move on.
Do it on your own, it makes no difference to me; what you leave behind, what you choose to be…
Rose is gone. She is not part of his life any more. She has her own life – her own universe. Still, he sends the whispers. More than an echo. Circling a dying star, he has to say his goodbye.
…And whatever they say, your soul's unbreakable.
Tears run freely down Rose's cheeks as she looks on her Doctor for the final time. His distant voice is swept across the grey sand of her new world. The breeze coming in off its alien sea stings her eyes and the tears spring up anew. His eyes are glistening too; they both know this is really goodbye.
She has to say it.
And tonight, we can truly say…
"I love you."
His brow creases with emotion and he wells up despite himself. He longs to touch her, to hold her. It's almost worth the apocalypse.
"Quite right too," he says, his voice choked. "And I suppose, if it's my last chance to say it…Rose Tyler…"
…Together we're invincible.
