Chris: I'm making a poem! GASPNESS! Ahem, here it is. Don't ask how I came up with it. It just comes from my mind. My very bored mind. Oh, and this is based off the Scouring. Note that I know jack about it. So…Yeah, don't expect this to be FE historically accurate.
The Journey of the Ancients
I've got a story
to tell you, my friend
About heroes and legends
Near the world's end
A story about warriors
That fought dragonkind
They risked all their lives
To get us out of a bind
The first was a swordsman
Roland was his name
He was calm, serious
and he quickly rose to fame
The second was Harmut
a swordsman as well
His military style and bearing
He gave his enemies hell
There were more of those heroes
With magic and skill
Who fought with their friends
And racked up the kills
One was Bramimond
A magic user of dark
His soul was consumed
But he fought like a hawk
Another was Elimine
Her magic of the light
that shone in the darkness
and helped others to fight
The last was Athos
Nature was his domain
He controlled fire and wind
Which caused much pain
Barigan, the Ilian hero
wrought havoc with his lance
He fought against his enemies
and gave them nary a chance
Hanon, a nomad from Sacae
Had skill with the bow
Arrows flew around
And casualties began to grow
Finally Durban,
one with the axe
His strength and power
destroyed everything in his path
The 8 heroes,
that was their name
Their journey was rough
but with it they gained fame
Their journey was tough
And yes, they fought hard
They reached Valor Isle
And they met this old bard
They reached the building
called the Dragon's Gate
And at this monument
They decided their fate
Their opponent was tough
A dragon of power
A dragon of strength
It was like a tower
Roland attacked first
Athos at his side
Steel flashed and fire burned
But it swept them away for the ride
Hartmut was next
With the berserker Durban as well
The dragon fought back
And both of them fell
However, Elimine was there
With her healing arts
She healed them and
rejuvenated their hearts
Bramimond and Barigan
with Hanon as well
led the last attack
and twas the dragon that fell
They brought back
news of their victory
Everyone cheered
And that is my story
Just remember, my friends
If you happen to find
Another group of heroes
Just keep in mind
Not all heroes are good
Nor all they all bad
But just remember
Of the 8 heroes of this land
Chris: There ya go. I think it's kinda crappy, myself. But that's just me. Give me any hints about my poetry. Never wrote it before.
