He grapples with his decision for just a moment. A terrified instant where he is overwhelmed by doubt and fear and the sense that this is just...wrong.
A little voice chirps panicked in the back of his mind. 'Please don't do this.'
He is annoyed. He has no need for a voice in his head. He knows exactly what he is doing.
As the souls pour into him and imbue him with their power he thinks how foolish it was that he was ever worried in the first place.
He is a new being. A new creature.
A new God.
