AUTHOR'S NOTE - There is no explanation for this. Only that it's pre-Paris, as I need a more playful Jenny and a more careless Gibbs. Also, this is to be taken with a pinch of salt.

ENJOY!

POP!

Pop!

She kept popping her bubble gum like a fourteen-year old girl and, frankly, it was driving him crazy. The sound it made. The way her tongue ran over her lips slowly, collecting the leftovers of the sticky mass. The glimmer in her eyes every time they met his.

Pop!

He tightened his grip on the pen, reading the same line for the fifth time before giving up.

"Shepard. Conference room. Now."

She moved behind him slowly, deliberately, before coming to stop right next to him, their shoulders touching.

Pop!

He punched the elevator button again, sighing in frustration. He could feel her smirk without even looking at her face. She knew exactly what she was doing to him and damn it if she wasn't enjoying it.

Finally, the metal door opened and he grabbed her arm before dragging her in. They barely made it one floor down, before he hit the switch and had her up against the wall.

Pop!

Her smirk grew into a full-blown grin. Oh, yeah. She was enjoying it, alright.

"Boss," – she said in her best business-like voice. "Did you need something?"

The tone was so ridiculously inappropriate for their current position, he wanted to laugh.

But Leroy Jethro Gibbs doesn't laugh. So he glared some more.

Pop!

She barely pulled her tongue back into her mouth this time before his lips covered hers. His tongue plunged inside immediately and he kissed her hard and deep before breaking the kiss and leaning his forehead on hers.

Pop!

He growled lowly before kissing her again. His tongue swiped the inside of her mouth and tangled shortly with hers, making her moan loudly.

He pulled back, moving both of his hands from her waist to her face.

"Stop that," – he warned her.

She smiled sweetly, as if she had no idea what he was talking about, before moving to flip the switch back.

He sighed, running his hand over his mouth and trying to get his body to calm down before the elevator door opened.

Pop!

Really, the headslap was inevitable.
