Nostalgia

Haku's breath came out in a puff, visible in the winter air, as he looked around The Great Naruto Bridge. He gently ran a hand across the railing, eyes scanning the empty bridge. "It's been so long…" he trailed off, feeling nostalgic memories creeping up on him.
A strong arm came to wrap around his waist, dragging him back into a warm chest. A chin came to rest easily on his petite shoulder and Haku shivered as warm breath caressed his ear. "Twelve years since I took you away from here," Sasuke stated.
The smaller male burrowed closer into the other's warmth, nuzzling Sasuke's chest affectionately. "I couldn't believe I lived and Zabuza didn't. What was more surprising was the fact that you took me to your village. Never did I think that I could make a new start," Haku confessed, watching the scene of his old master fall in his mind's eye.
Kisses were peppered along his jaw and Haku smiled. "I'm glad you agreed."
He turned around in the embrace, pressing a kiss to the underside of Sasuke's jaw. "As am I. Joining the village, becoming a medic-nin...I finally had a new reason in life. I'd never been so happy."
A dark eyebrow raised. "Never?" he questioned lowly, tightening his grip around the effeminate boy's waist. Haku giggled and raised on his toes to give Sasuke a kiss on the nose.
"Of course the day you asked me for a date was wonderful as well. The time I've spent with you have definitely been the happiest in my life," he smiled beautifully and Sasuke nodded, appeased.
"Thank you for bringing me here. However, as wonderful as this trip has been, I think it's time we went home. To our home." Haku stretched up once more and placed his lips gently on the other's, smiling softly when Sasuke pressed back with all the love Haku could ask for.
They pulled apart, Haku breathless as usual, and Sasuke smirked, kissing the top of the other's head. "Home," he agreed and they disappeared with a puff of smoke.
